Questions and suggestions are very welcome.

I dedicate this blog to Natalie, here you'll find photos, facts, and general information about her and her works.

Splendor in the Grass  (1961)  |  The Mystery of Natalie Wood  (2004)

when were young, we look at things very idealistically I guess.

Well, like you, Bud. I don’t think too much about happiness either.

Several weeks into Splendor production, rumors began circulating that linked Natalie and Beatty in a classic life-imitates-art love affair. By August, they were being seen around Manhattan together, but when Dorothy Kilgallen claimed in her column that they were a hot item, Natalie’s lawyers send her a notice stating that the gossip was “defamatory and untrue.”
Gary Lockwood, who played a supporting role in Splendor, told a reporter upon completion of the picture, “I can tell you this, nothing happened… between Warren and Natalie. Bob (Wagner) was with Natalie all the time, and Joan took up every minute of Warren’s time. Whatever happened between them happened well after the picture was finished.”
